These Terms and other pages are kept undated and are amended every so often and will apply throughout the use of the site and service. 

  1. Placing an Order

To place an order, the customer must create an account, select the item(s) they would like to purchase and ensure that the order form is correctly filled out. If the customer does not have an account, it will be created upon checkout. The details will be saved for future purchases and will not be shared with third parties, unless needed for credit card payment via WiPay secure checkout to process payment. More details can be found on Privacy Policy and Cookies.

– Email

– Delivery Date (to be selected)*
– Choice of Contact (to be selected)

 Delivery Date* – Once the order limit has been reached for a particular date, it will be unavailable for selection on the calendar. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and unfortunately will be unable to deliver on those days.

  1. Payment

Purchases can be done via cash, card or wireless transfer. Customers are encouraged to choose the wireless payment options, such as WiPay or Endcash Application.

  1. Prices
    All prices listed on the site are listed in Trinidad and Tobago Dollars. Prices on each item are subject to change at any time. Delivery is free at selected locations and customers may be required to pay a delivery fee that does not fall under the stipulated areas. VAT (Value added tax) is currently not added to the price of the product as Alx Café falls under the required revenue bracket within Trinidad and Tobago. This is subject to change.  
  1. Availability of Products

Alx Café is a small business and as such the products listed on the site are only available in small quantities and made to order. Each item is unique and handcrafted. Occasionally items will be out of stock or unavailable but will be updated once there is availability.

In the event that you are able to order an item(s) but it is unavailable, we will contact you to either offer you a substitute or refund if applicable.

  1. Delivery

Due to the perishable nature of the product, we only deliver to customers living in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Customer is responsible for the name, address, and any other information stated on the bill. The information must be precise to allow for optimal delivery. In the Event that Alx Café is unable to deliver the package on the delivery date stated, the customer will be notified of a new delivery date or cancellation and refund can be done.

We are not responsible for any deterioration or damage that may occur during its delivery unless stated by the driver of any incidences. We cannot be held responsible for damages of package if it was collected via a third party in the event of the absence of the recipient stated on the bill.

  1. Complaints & Refunds
    Each Customer must ensure that the order is accurate upon collection of delivery, any complaints must be made within 48 hours of receipt, and take into the account of the perishability of the products.

    Any refund to be done will occur within a 30 day period and the customer will be notified via the email attached to their Alx Café account upon completion.
